Motive cannot substitute for mechanism
Many people may have preferred Epstein unable to testify. A homicide conclusion still needs evidence that someone entered, acted, and left or otherwise caused the death.
Uncertainty belongs with its cause
The government should bear criticism for uncertainty created by blind cameras, false logs, missed rounds, and destroyed evidence. The homicide hypothesis does not automatically inherit that uncertainty as positive proof.
